Upgrade Overview
As part of our commitment to innovation and security, we are in the process of upgrading Pecu Novus over the next several weeks. This upgrade involves phasing out all legacy systems that were maintained through the Pecu Novus 2.0 upgrade in 2022. This strategic move aligns with our path towards an open-source direction, enabling Pecu Novus to scale and significantly increase processing power.
Temporary Limited Access
During this initial upgrade, there will be temporary limited access to Pecu Wallets and the Terminal. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to your routine. Rest assured, this step is crucial for the betterment of the entire Pecu Novus Community. Security is paramount for stakeholders, this has nothing to do with the Pecu Novus Blockchain Network and everything to do with ensuring that stakeholders are protect as well they have a path to recovering lost credentials in a decentralized fashion.
Timeline and Updates
The security upgrade process is anticipated to be completed by November 17, 2023, dependent on propagation speed throughout the network. We will keep the community informed through regular updates posted to ensure transparency and keep the Pecu Novus Community well-informed.

November 12, 2023, 08:00 GMT: Legacy systems prior to Pecu Novus 2.0 are being phased out, with integrated security enhancements for Pecu Wallets and recovery methods. An additional 24 hours are estimated for partial completion.
November 13, 2023, 08:00 GMT: Phasing out of legacy systems is ongoing, accompanied by necessary security protocols. The upgrade, extending through November 14, 2023, is vital for future enhancements, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise-level functionality.
November 15, 2023, 13:00 GMT: Security updates are completed and propagating through the network. Front-end access to wallets, the terminal, and other functions will be activated progressively. Full front-end access is expected to be restored within the next 24 hours.
