We are very happy to announce that the sharding process of the Pecu Novus Network has been completed, this was painstakingly initiated in order to not only improve the speed, scalability and security of the Pecu Novus Network for today but it was an initiative that will scale in an infinite state. It was done in such a way that it will autonomously scale as the network requires, this will allow the network to handle tens of thousands of transactions per second of all types.
So for instance if it came to a point where the requirements were for 100,000 or more transactions per second on the network in the future, it can be handled seamlessly.
The finalization of the sharding process has also allowed for the Pecu Novus Validator Program to take shape and on May 1, 2022 the Validator Program will officially be open for any Pecu Novus Member to participate in. Since the mode of measure is Proof of Time, there is no staking required. The need for the heavy energy consumption of Proof of Work has been eliminated, the need for Proof of Stake has been eliminated as well due to the inclusion mandate for Pecu Novus. Basically our Proof of Time model allows for true inclusion and disperses of the “Velvet Rope” around the ability to host a node, it allows anyone anywhere in the world to earn rewards for participating in increasing the security, speed and scalability of the network.
